Ebenezer joined Umio with 8 years’ experience in economics, strategy, and planning. His international experience crosses various industries: investment banking, energy, chemicals, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.
He began his career at Citigroup working in foreign exchange before moving to Royal Dutch Shell. At Shell, Ebenezer managed international projects including collaborations with the German Government, Toyota, Daimler, Linde and McKinsey. He was the Chief Economist for a number of projects including the development and deployment of multiple billion dollar investments in ethylene, propylene, and upstream to downstream gas projects.
He spent the last 6 years providing economic solutions to pharmaceutical companies, consultancies, and the NHS.
Ebenezer was a technical lead at OptumInsight where he led economic model development for Pfizer, Gilead, and Lundbeck. He also successfully delivered a detailed strategy recommendation on the restructuring of a local health economy for NHS England.
Currently, Ebenezer splits his time between health market access, dossier submissions, and technology commercialisation.
Ebenezer has an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and MIT in Economics (Technology Policy) and a BSc Hons degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh.
